Latest Technologies in Donor Organ Evaluation
We use state-of-the-art technology to provide real-time analysis of transplant tissue.
WUPax, our HIPAA-compliant, web-based telepathology platform, is integrated into the laboratory information system (LIS), fully-searchable and designed to be viewer agnostic. It has out-of-the-box functionality with a wide variety of WSI platforms, image stitching cameras and clients.
WUPax is tried and tested in a clinical environment, supporting real-time diagnosis of donor organ biopsies from remote sites.
Our Research
We conduct NIH-funded research investigating donor kidney biopsy evaluation that aims to improve the unacceptably high organ discard rate.
