Washington University’s Diagnostic Laboratory Services offers a comprehensive range of molecular pathology and genomics services, including cytogenetics and sequencing, for a variety of somatic and constitutional disease areas. Testing is powered by the Clinical and Translational Genomics (CaTG) Laboratory and is supported by highly trained professionals, which include Washington University faculty, technicians and administrative staff.
Cytogenetics
Cytogenetic testing, which includes chromosome analysis/karyotyping, chromosomal microarray analysis (CMA) and fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH), can be a powerful tool in the diagnosis and management of prenatal and constitutional disease and cancer.
