The Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology section specializes in the pathologic diagnosis of mesenchymal tumors including exclusion of potential mimics. These tumors frequently occur within the musculoskeletal system, though any anatomic site may be affected. The team has expertise in complex cases from all sites, rare tumor types and recently described and emerging entities.

The section is composed of three members: Dr. John S.A. Chrisinger, Dr. Louis P. Dehner and Dr. Fouad Boulos, who have a combined experience in the field of over 70 years. Drs. Chrisinger, Dehner, and Boulos hold positions in subspecialty pathology organizations, are actively involved in bone and soft tissue pathology research and have given invited lectures and presentations at national and international meetings.
